About "Cornfield Chronicles"
entry by meganb
7/22/2004 1:18 PM

Surely they won't all be about "cornfields", but since leaving the wonderful exploration town of Chicago for a small suburban Indiana farm town, I doubt that there will be anything as enormous to report here. I have stumbled upon a few places of opportunity and come across resources that point to others I have not yet had the chance to check out.

My reports will mainly center on exploring the "Heartland" and I sincerely hope not to bore any of you too much.

Yours en SuE,
Megan

Hrm... You look fairly new, welcome to UER Your moving to Indiana sounds like my moving to a small college town in Iowa, this fall... What took you to "The Heartland?" Anything there besides abandoned barns? That's all my new town has to offer, that I've scoped out ... I hope that when I move up there I will be able to find something more interesting... maybe drains...

Drains. Maybe small-town Indiana has drains?

Emma

Thanks for the post!
I guess that I am new to the EUR forums. I usually only stopped-by to lurk when someone else mentioned something about it somewhere else. Since I am away from my "usual suspects", I came here to perhaps find some other new or used "suspects" who might be interested in combing Indy. Or, perhaps, I will go solo or restrict my adventures to long and far away places. (After all, in December I plan to hit the UK!) I haven't really decided on anything, yet.

Good luck on the drain thing, but must say, old grey barns are a real drag. I also dig the Emma Peel thing too. (So many heroines, so little time.)

Sincerely,
Yours en SuE,
Megan
