I am new to the whole Urban Exploring setting. I have been extremely interested in going out and actually exploring some places for a while though. I was wondering if there are any places in the San Diego area that are awesome. As of the moment I am kind of confined to the San Diego area, but as soon as I get my tax refund I am buying my SUV, and I am completely willing to go out exploring in more distant areas. Oh yeah! I also wouldn't mind finding a buddy to come exploring with me, but that is optional.

I'm not sure how people are on the West coast, but generally, you're not going to find people whom are willing to give handouts. Your best bet would be to search around on Google/Bing/Flickr/sites of that sort and to find someone to drive around, looking for places (railroad tracks and rivers are a good place to start.)
Good luck with your adventures!

I'd recommend you finding people in your area, and meet up.

UER as a site is rather hostile towards people asking for handouts. If you find someone to hang with, they'll see you aren't a

hey i'm in san diego area too (carlsbad actually). i'm new to the UER, but i've been doing a lot of mine exploring over the past year, and lately i've been getting into storm drains. there are a ton of decent-sized drains in the area - but the really huge ones are in OC and LA.

hit me up on pm and we can talk about stuff.

Hey, I just moved to San Diego, and would love to meet up and explore with anyone and everyone in the area who wants to! I'm down to explore anything really - cranes, drains, abandonments.

I'm coming from Thailand where there wasn't any drain exploration going on as I know of, or any type underground exploration whatsoever, so I would be new to drain exploration. I would really love to meet some locals to explore though, and would really appreciate it to get a start with exploring here! Please PM me if you're interested!

Hey. I just got to San Diego and I don't know anything or anybody here. I'm usually pretty good at finding interesting things on my own, but I'll only be in town for a couple months and want to make the most of it. I know I don't have much of a presence on this site but if anybody out there wants an exploring buddy, I'm down.
