I'm planning to post Modesto hot-spots I know of every couple weeks. I know of probably 15-20 places in Modesto alone, but I thought I might share this place with you guys as a start. (I'm planning on posting most valuable urbex locations to me last, least valuable first, 'value' is determined by how bad condition they are, how large the property is, and how vandalized they are)
This house, known to locals as 'The Sharon House' is a great demonstration for what can happen to a modern house if abandoned for a time span of 20+ years.
This house consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a garage, and a small barn opposite the driveway.

Contact me if you would like to know the location of this. I may ask for a trade, request to meet you first, or if I trust you I'll just tell you its location. OR you can wait 3 months when I post this on the database with address.
(Note: photos are taken with my Droid phone, I use my knee to steady my phone, I'm cheap, please don't expect a lot from these photos.)
(Note(again): It was requested I not attach photos to the post by decrepitude, I didn't know there was a button at the top you could put an image url in)

Found this really funny here.

By the end of the day my phone only had enough juice for 1 pic of the Blair witch room.
Was a pleasure meeting you danyasun.
I still maintain that you didn't pass the initiation test though!

That is gorgeous. I would like to know where it is, I haven't hit up Modesto yet but it seems like a goldmine.

There's a house similar to this near Sebastopol I found that my cousin recommended in a neighborhood off of the 116.

This thread appealed to me because there were many locations that i had spotted during my visit there while visiting family 3 years ago.

Your cell phone photo with those hands is creepy. I like it!
