Once-ler, Little Brittle, RobinHood, lieutenant, and I took a little day-jaunt westwards in search of new things to crawl over. We met up with John Quincy Dobbs to hit up a nice little public park and see the less-public sides. A bit of climbing, some pole removal, what I swear was a softcore porno shoot, and maybe a touch of snow later, we were all set. We decided to go downtown in search of more. We saw so many potential locations that I honestly kept forgetting which damn one I was in. A few hours of invading homeless homes, some climbing, and one angry man later, we decided to catch some dinner and head back to plan for more.

The Mexican food is still creeping up my throat. Maybe we should have stuck with Waffle House. So what if the cook and the waitress were having a tryst in the back of the restaurant? That's what hand soap is for.

Well it was a nice way to close out a wonderful year with a trip thrown together at the very last minute. Even that morning we still didn't know if we would be heading east or west for exploring. Glad we headed west though to see some new locations and meet up with an old friend. Bennet, I think your shot of the flooded Stock Tunnel at the Furnace turned out better than mine. I just didn't have the balls to wade down into the water to get that shot at the surface level, but hardcore SOB is all I can say. Somehow I ended up mucking about in the Engine Blowing Room while you were climbing to the top of the Furnace. I screwed the pooch on that. Excellent shots there man. LittleBrittle, you did a wonderful job with the parking deck shot, and you are right, there are more things to see below. I could have spent a lot of time in that parking deck. In fact your shots are improving vastly, that new camera will be an asset to you. It looks like the elevator motor room has taken a thrashing since Naaman last visit though. Still good stuff to look at here and there. An extra thanks out to Dobbs and come to ATL as soon as possible, we'll give you the special tour there for all your troubles. In the New Year SP.E.C.T.R.E. rides out North, South, East and West. Happy 2013 to all.

Man, I've gotta make it back to that city. Are photos #1 and #2 from the same place? 'Cause that's a LOT more water than was in that tunnel when I was there!

Ok, my turn.

Such a great day. Thank you Once-ler for hitting me up and getting me out of the house. It was worth braving the cold and snow to hang out with y'all and see some awesome places. I can't wait to do it again!

All shots are SOOC and taken with my brand new camera!

Seeing these places again gives me nostalgia. But I'm glad to know that these places are only but a small fraction of the awesomeness Tha Ham has to offer. Either way wish I could of been there

Great pics and awesome looking location. Love old industrial sites. Who wants to attempt using the wrench in #4 of Once-ler's set?

Funny you should mention that wrench, Quincy and I once upon a time tried to pick it up on one of our many explores.... All I can say is those boys were beasts back in the day... Looking at the machinery and hearing all the stories from old locals really helps set the tone when you get in there even though its one of the easier explores ever :p but still tons of hidden goodies there
