Hoteling, but abandoned now.

Interesting how the world functions in ways such so that coincidences seem to happen all the time to me. Coincidentally, I explored an abandoned hotel only a week after exploring an active one. A quick transition from my urban life to my suburban life. It was on the drive back to CT that we passed this spot, and have been meaning to stop at it for a while, just never got around to it. Very quiet, surreal, easy access and interesting things in the building sort of place. Found some really nice artwork, and for some reason there was a typewriter in there as well.

I've been doing more writing again. I haven't been keeping any sort of personal writings for a while now, but I'm starting to realize how crucial memories and nostalgia are to me. I'm going to try and make a new years resolution: write SOMEthing every day for 2013. Also, I explored 100 times in exactly one year - a very good number in my opinion, but I'm going to try and keep that going. I'm going to make it a point to match that with visiting 100 places in the next year. Already at 2 and it's only been 2 days. I plan to produce a LOT of work this year.

The machine you have there is an old adding machine. As a a kid I was gifted a similar one from a friend of my moms as it was just gathering dust in a back closet. Fascinating there was a solution for math before calculators of today.
