every now and again, the earth moves... in the years to come, this is going to come back and bite Moriah right in the ass. In the middle of Mineville, there is a huge open pit and it is deep. Here's the problem... as the rim erodes, it gets wider and wider. When i was a kid, the lip of this monster was a good 50 yards from the road. Now, it is less than 60feet!

There are places where holes are opening up from the ground caving in... I'm glad I live in Port Henry!!!

If the mines in Mineville cave in there won't only be a huge hole. There will also be a large flood. I have most of the geological paperwork from when the geologists last came and tested everything.

50% of the old mine shafts are now underground rivers or lakes. Depending on how each person view how large things have to be to be considered a river or pond or lake.

Well back to the main statement. According to what I have read most of the shafts are frozen. And the do not want the shafts vented because that is what is holding some of the shafts up.

I am privaleged with this information because my parents own a house that sits directly above a mine shaft. And according to my parents whenever testing is done the geologists have to release the information to people that have land or dwellings that are directly above mine shafts.

I have not read the papers in a while. I will read them again and relay what I comprehend here.

Samurai; correct me if I'm wrong but when I was up there, I noticed several random "fenced areas" ; I assumed these were areas prone to collapse.

I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying.
