I'd say it's about a 2 - 2.5 hour drive from Toronto itself.

The main building is entirely gutted out inside, just empty rooms and bare walls (where there are walls left. anyway). I haven't been inside the chapel or the other small building on the property so I can't comment on those.

The exterior architecture is pretty nice though...

So there I was, in this creepy old hallway...

Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years.

Alma College is very closely watched buy the police and the property owner, who spends a lot of time there. The main building is totally stripped of everything, and the other buildings aren't much better. The chapel has the pews left in it, but that's it. The dorm building and cafeteria isn't much more interesting.

HI There!

I live in guelph, but grew up in st thomas. It will take you about 2.5 hours, depending how fast you drive. It is very close to the 401 too. I would say that Alma College is definitely worth the drive. It is beautiful, and it's urban legend around home that the upstairs is haunted by a musich teacher named Angie that died after her students kept her in a locker for the weekend. Also, St Thomas was once the railway capitol of the area, so there is a really nice 1800's abandoned railway station there too. I haven't ventured inside, but am going to at some point.

Check out my pictures from my return trip to the St.Thomas Train Station here, or from our first trip to the station here.
