I actually went on a tour of that place when I was in like 5th grade - I think it's the same place - with two whole pictures it's hard to be sure. It must have been like 79-80? Sorry, I don't have any real good information - I was maybe 9 or 10 at the time.

<edit>
Actually, after looking at the gallery linked there it is the same place for sure, wish I had something for you, it was pretty boring for me when I was a kid - if I knew then what I know now though...

Well, for what it's worth, my Grandma used to live close to the Mill. When I was VERY young, maybe 6 or 7 we would sit on her front porch on the nights when they would pour "slag" and the whole sky would light up a bright orange like the whole city of Pueblo was on fire. I also remember hearing of a lot of safety accidents there. It wasn't uncommon for them to lose a worker per week from guys tripping on the catwalks and falling into the molton slag. I wouldn't be suprised if there were at least a few ghosts wandering around there. I imagine it would be a really cool explore if you could get in.....
