I don't know if anyone is still interested, or even if this building is still there, but not long after it burn a couple in lansing were in the process of planning an arts community in there. I had explored it before leaving the state, not much to look at, but still interesting to know that the area was once so big on meat production. After seeing it though, I could see why plans for an art center would fall through. Lots of very old insulation and a crumbling economy. On a positive note, the building has a unique feel to it, the old school cooler doors are neat to look at and there are some interesting spaces just above the floor that I still don't know the purpose of.
