I visited this site yesterday (Jan 11th/08) and the place is pretty much gone. There is one house left (besides two "Trailer Park Boys" looking active houses) and I can't find a POE. Broadview park still exists, although in a creepy, murder scene kind of way. I can't find anything here of much interest.

Indeed. It's almost a case study of "World Without Us".
Nature is slowly reclaiming the whole area. And I know the house you are talking about. Every time we go by we have a debate about whether or not anyone actually lives there. Always the same derelict vehicles littered around the site, and that one bulb on the porch is always lit.
Last time we were there some half in the bag guy came out of nowhere on an ATV. Best to travel back there in groups now I think. ;)
