Its been closed longer than 2005. I have pictures I took in the flooded basement in winter 2003-2004 and it had been abandoned for quite some time before then.

I've already gotten in touch with the successor to the pump manufacturer. Once I get the serial number off the builder's plate, they will be able to tell me when it was purchased, by whom, and what for. It looks as though the pump may be in use elsewhere, and if it has transferred to someone else, it may turn up in their records too. Of course, it may have just been scrapped.
