I was watching an older Mel Gibson movie this afternoon called "The River", and I'm pretty sure that the steel plant in it was the Ensley plant. The movie was filmed in 83-84 and the information on this location here states that Ensley was closed in 1981... also, according to IMDB, the movie was partially filmed in Birmingham AL.

Just wondering.
