I just want to say ty to u for taking the time to post this in the site, i found it while having a moment of memories and man did it ever bring some back. Its hard to remember a lot about the park because i was only 7 when it closed. My mom worked there in her teen's for a few yrs and most of her memories as a teen were there, so much so that she met her 1st husband there. And i have the most memories of my grandpa from that great park. The park is now sadly long gone but ill always have it in my heart. So ty for remembering too, i wish more did.

With every thought we create a memory

Thanks for posting these pictures. I just registered on this site, I am not sure if it has been posted anywhere else but the Comet, (my 1st rollercoaster), was sold and is now in NY State at the Six flags park near Lake George. I went on it when on vacation in the area a few years back, it was still good but just not the same without the lake right there.

If anyone is interested here is some info on the comet;

Thanks for the pics, they brought back a lot of memories.

This is a really interesting site, thanks. I am going to poke around some more, you guys have some cool stuff posted here.
