I just have to know...am I the only person who's so stingy about the rating system? I mean, this place has been rated a 5, which means it's half way to neing the coolest location you'll ever see. Are there people here that really feel that way? Cause, I mean, damn...I see a pool, and a slide. A lot of both.

And a 4 on content quality? There's not even any security measures or hazards listed. There's nothing about the place... how is it a four?

5 seems about right.
Lower ratings should be reserved for places that you couldn't get in, or boarded up convenience stores, or drains that lead nowhere. Higher ratings are for prisons, hospitals, skyscrapers, etc.
A run down motel? Well that's about halfway if you ask me.

But I think 5 is fine for this content. It's a kind of a neat place. Sure, there's no history or detail or variety, but I've always had a giant soft spot for places which are forgotten, right in plain view. This is a great example of that. Literally millions of people drive within a few feet of this place every year.


I have to agree about the ratings in general, though. I just don't get it when 20 people have voted for something and it's got an 8, and I feel like there was nothing really interesting, and the photos were kind of stale and uninspired.
