This is one of my favorite places in the world...

I've been going there for years. I reaaly enjoyed the pictures you've taken there. Many of the pictures do a good job to capture some of the highlights of Untermyer. I gave very high ratings...however, there are some aspects you've left out. I will have to add some pictures of my own one day, to round it out.

I was glad to see you captured some of the original grime that gives it some of it's character. (By coming up through the back).

The difference of how this place looked 10 years ago to now is astonishing. They installed handles on walkways where there used to be rocks and made it more 'park' and less 'whoah what the hell is this place'.

One thing amazing about this 'park' is the radical transformation that takes place at night. During the day it has a snow white feel, and even has the occasional pre-wedding photo shoot (with permission from the county).

But at night,(after the park is 'closed') the Son-of-Sam info starts to creep into your mind as the landscapes themselves shift into a gothic nightmare.

Both Day and Night are equally beautiful in this case and both are needed to get the full feel.
