I hope you're planning on revisiting this place soon, yaggy. From what I've seen so far, one gallery just doesn't it the justice it deserves. Kudos to ya for a great first effort!

There's a few spots I haven't seen yet,
but overall it's so clean and empty,
it just doesn't have the same feel to it
that other places do.

Clean and empty? the photos give a feel of it being eerily still occupied.

How difficult is access?

It's pretty much impossible now. Demolition began in June, and only two buildings remain. Although it's still possible to gain access...

I'm about to review the photos, but the thought of someone being wrongfully commited just freaks me out. And for speaking another language! I know we have changed the way we treat our mental patients and I hope ignorance like that is not going on today.
