2 things:
First off, I'm pretty sure the Rt. 15 Jail is gone and has been for a while.
I live less than 5 minutes from the geographic coords, the coords place it in a neighborhood. I also can't find anything on it online.

Second, does anyone know of any good locations in the greater Manassas-Haymarket-Gainesville area?

The most I found of the jail online is its construction date. Which is 1801. I don't live in that area so I could only give you info of what I find on the internet.

Hey I live very close to this and have been here many times. I have further info on it. It is not in the location on the map. It is not the Haymarket Jail. The only info that I can find on it says that it was a State prison camp. I have found no other info. It is located off of Rt. 15. The land is currently for sale but no one has bought it.

We checked this place out a few weeks ago and ended up being actively pursued by LEO. Can't imagine why they have someone guarding that place. It's still there, in all its blighted glory... I'd try to post some photos, but I'm brand-new here and haven't figured out conform with the size requirements.

Jeez, I was looking at heading there recently but didn't know there's an active guard.

Did they appear to be there full-time, or was it just a patrol of some sort?

I just sent you a message. I’m thinking more full-time presence, because that access gate was closed to traffic- not an easy thing to drive a patrol car on that road...
