Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years.

I remember hiking up here with friends when I was in my early teens. Hasn't changed a whole lot. It's such a shame that such a glorious home was lost...

Very cool guys.

It would be very interesting to see if anyone can bring in some more stories / picutres on this site.

To all: don't forget to take some time and vote - I really need the feed-back.

Thanks!

I was just there this weekend. I took a few pictures, that I will put up on this site.
A near disaster was avoided recently with the castle. One of the areas in the rear collapsed. (This is what collapsed: http://www.uer.ca/...al.asp?picid=49792) Luckily it did not hit the orange fireplace in the middle, but it came close. If it had struck the fireplace, it would have knocked it into the main wall, and may have taken the entire structure down.

I hope this thing doesn't fall apart much more by the summer. Definitely going to check it out when it's warmer.

I know this is late... but it's still there. From what I heard from my brother (who visited in January), the large orange fireplace in the middle of the Castle was knocked down because of fears it may fall into the main wall and bring it down. After it was knocked down, the building was fenced off.

The majority of it is still standing, though.
