If you are going to this location and are have an allergy to bees, do not go into the building with the collapsed roof. There are thousands of bees in the (if memory serves correct) south east corner of the building.. i only say this because i have an allergy to bees and yellow jackets and it would have been nice if that info was in the description. seeing how i am not a full member i can not edit the location and can only make a thread about it. last at this location, 5-1-12.

do you know what hours the part-time guard is there? or when its active each day/week? and how many planes are left on the field? also is it better to go at nightime/dusk or in daytime? sorry for all the questions but im fairly new to exploring and am planning a trip soon ill post pics after

Only 1 of the collapsed buildings is anywhere near standing ( 1-2 walls. ) So Didn't check on it..

There is another building past the hangar on the north side. That one DOES have a bees near near the entrance. I wouldn't recommend it allergy or not.

No security of any kind was in evidence. The whole site seems to be completely abandoned for now.

About 9 planes on site. Fairly good condition considering how long they have been out there. All are open and accessible depending on your climbing ability.

Has anyone been inside the fenced off area? Me and a buddy noticed a "new" looking electrical box attached to the side of the building, with wires leading to what kinda looked like some sensors pointed at the airplanes. We might be paranoid but we didn't want to risk it.
