And here's some pictures I took. I don't have an pictures of me using it, but it's pretty natural to change the brightness options on the Tactical. 170 lumens is very bright, and the light drops to lower levels (longer life) when your batteries are going out.


Thanks for the links, it's a nice unit. I'm still undecided, but will need a kick ass torch very soon. The memory mode is something else eh?

Hey! the Quark AA*2 head has a voltage range of 0.9V ~ 4.2V! To run 2*123's you will need the 123*2 head (the head is only good on the 123*2 voltage range: 3.0V ~ 9.0V) With the AA*2 head your body options are 123*1, AA*1, AA*2, and 18650. If your order hasnt shipped yet (you havent gotten a delivery confirmation) I would email David as soon as possible and ask if he can refund your body or ask if you could get a different body instead.

I'm not sure that 2xAA and 2x123 are that different from each other anyway, in terms of flexibility - I'd switch the 2x123 for a 1xAA or 1x123, personally.

Yep as far as I know the 123*2 light isnt compatible with anything (voltage and size wise) If it were me i would grab a 123*1 body but ive got some weird fetish with single cell 123 lights ='x

Hasn't logged in in ages, here's his posts. He posts with the usual corporate 'cannot condone the sale of products explicitly for illegal activities' that might be required by their lawyers. Despite that in his posts, he's friendly in PMs, and responds fairly quickly.

True. Well I've bought the warm white from them now and it's my first purchase from 4sevens.

I've bought from brightguy a few times before though, but everyone sure seems to love 4sevens so I'm looking forward to see how the light is.
