'Saturday morning (in the factory)'

First I did think that saturday morning --> to the swamp and sunday morning --> to the factory. But when my cellular phone did wake me 4:15 at this morning there were so much clouds on the sky, that there were no need to get to the swamp (I need light of the rising sun), so I did get back to sleep. And wake up 7:00. And then I did decide to do that sunday's factory gig already today. I did spent 1,5 hours there and come back with 30 photos (well, there were more but I did keep just those 30).

So here we go with some results from my second trip to that collapsing factory. Cheers!

(and yes, they all are hdr pictures)

As usual, very nicely done.
Good titles, also.

Good usage of HDR. Many people tend to over do it but I like what you've done with it.

Thank you very much - its always nice to hear something like that, because I'll try to get my hdr's as near reality than possible. Anyway, now I must get to sleep, just 4 pints at this saturday, so I will be driveable tomorrow, it seems that it COULD be good weather, so maybe I will head to the swamp... Have to put alarm to 4:10 (sun is rising earlier and earlier at this time of year). Luckily clock is now just 23:55...

Awesome. Loved "get me out of here". Thought a similar thing before I saw what you called it. Looking forward to seeing your next swamp shots as well.

Thank you very much, once again. But no swamp adventures today, it was too windy at 4, so there wouldn't be any fog.

Thank you very very very very very very very very much!

I really wish to get on the road (or actually get off the road) soon - it could be good weather at the end of this week to get to the swamp, so maybe we go off-topic soon again.

Also I have found from the map at least one abandoned quarry that I have seen yet. Only problem starts to be money again - three weeks to my next unemployment benefit and 80 euros on my acoount, so I really must concentrate to keep myself getting on the road just when it is worth of it. Especially because fuel costs what it cost, it starts to be over 1,2 euros per litre again (almost six dollard per gallon). Nice price in country like this, where you can't manage without own car. By the way, there are over 80 percent tax in that price...

Terve elämä voittaa Wolfheart.
You know i love your stuff so i am going to give you some critique on what i would have liked to see.
I think less depth of focus on Rusty rolling would have made it epic, now its only very good. I find the background is somewhat distracting and a bit more bokeh might have helped. Maybe that would have put some of the foreground out of focus as well but as long as the ball bearing is in focus i think it would have been better.

Terve elämä voittaa, yeah right!

I agree with that background thing, but I was cheating my own love (Canon Powershot S5 IS) and do this trip with borrowed Canon EOS 400D and that objective that did came with that camera. And with that poor 3x zoom - no way to get background blurred, especially because with 400D you can't manually change aperture when shooting macro (which is quite remarkable because with my S5 I can). So once again I feel really happy that I don't have that damned digital system camera fever that seems to rule the world these days.

But thanks for comment, I'll think that there is reason enough to get back there, once again (and that is good).

Sorry, but here we go with off-topic (try to understand; over two weeks of worthless wake-up 4 a clock and then, finally one perfect morning; too less sleep, cold but beautiful morning on the swamp and now third pint ending without forgetting that it have forecast perfect weather next morning too, but I don't have enough fuel or money to get to the swamp, so I must concentrate to beer). Anyway I am so happy after all those worthless wake ups, that here we go (I really am sorry but I also am not):

Morning dive:

Satumaa:

Forest of Light:

And few bonus from yesterday (I was going to do some UE photographing but I did spot this on the road, weather was quite cold and this one was slow so... Much better photos from this one than that UE thing):

To the big world:

S. Frog (ten points to first who knows from wich comedy series this name came from):

Anyway, I did today give small hint to my friend (that were drunk and owns more reliable car) that I could know one abandoned grain silo quite far away, so I hope that my forework works... So we can get back to UE. It would be quite... Umm... Interesting place because it is high, and I have afraid of highs, and my friend doesn't and he is totally insane, crazy and fool what comes to high places.

Beautiful shots as always. Morning Dive looks like it is on fire. Great details in S.Frog as well. He looks like a grumpy boy...the color in the eye is sweet. Be careful at the Silo. Wouldn't want your next post to be one with bad news!

Yeah, if we ever gonna get so far (my car is so damned unreliable that every trip, even near is some kind of adventure). And I sure am afraid high places so damned much that I will be very careful. Now I am dreaming about swamp, but it seems to be worthless; it is getting cloudy, so you know what is name of the game... Yes! Few beers!
