|  | | | I'm not sure if this place used to be a place to eat or see a movie. I didn't take any photos inside the trailer because if you've seen one empty trailer you've probably seen them all. Golden City had some cool buildings to check out but I didn't stick around long enough to do any poking around. Maybe some other time.

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice? |

| | | | Yeah it looked like a drive thru that you couldn't actually drive up too. Honestly I think there's probably a lot of old cool stuff in Golden City to explore. One day I'll head back.

| | | | No idea, I seriously just drove through the town after a long day. One day I'll go back. I honestly just thought the drive inn was funny since you actually had to park your car and then walk up to the window. The windows were open and I could've taken some photos of the insides but it was just an empty trailer.

Golden City has celebrated "Golden Harvest Days" for many years. The event is usually held sometime in July, usually the 17th to the 18th. The event consists of music, food, cakewalk, and games for children.
Starting in 2007, despite much controversy, the town will hold a "Rock n' Blues BBQ." Some citizens and local churches were against the event due to a beer garden that will be set up in the local park. Besides the beer garden, the event will have craft & vendors, a barbecue cook-off, games, and music from Amsterdam and local band BlackFoot Drifter. The event is set to begin on October 12th and end October 13th.
