Thanks to Barry Kooda for the tip on this place, but I only managed to pull off a couple shots before I started feeling sick. It wasn't anything at the site though; I'm sure it was just the mexican food I had beforehand!

I sincerely hope you dont get an answer.

Wouldnt it be just as easy to ask for details in a private message?

or wtf, or go ahead post it all in a public thread that would be even better!

Is the color in your pictures post processing, or do you have a mobile lighting setup? (The red window and the blue doorway) Or maybe it's just a coincidence. I noticed it in the "Where the music died" post too. Very cool effect.

I love Imbroglio's use of color especially since I've been experimenting with MUCH less success for a few months. My first attempt was at Lake Whitney last Summer when I couldn't sleep.

All I had for amusement was a flashlight and camera.
Google "light painting". There's some great work being done.

Oh! I saw a great instructable (instructables.com) about this.
I did a similar experiment with a room full of those LED keychains (not the uer ones, but the exact same type I ordered in bulk from overseas). Tied about 10 of them to pieces of string, hung them in different lengths from the ceiling in a dark room and pointed an oscillating fan on them while using the bulb setting on my camera. That was on film though, I'll have to find the negatives and share.

Very cool idea, I will have to give this a try.

Thanks for the comments folks...

Ardamass - Well, these are actually interior doors, so I don't think discussing them would technically breach any of the etiquette outlined in the post BustedKnuckle references below, but by the same token, I don't wanna rub any of the UER elders (like 2X) the wrong way, so I will leave it to your imagination as to what the situation is onsite there...hope you understand.

Sailor's Heart - All the lighting effects are performed onsite using a handheld Vivitar 285 strobe and a variety of flashlights. No automation is involved; I simply walk around while the shutter is open and fire off the strobe or "paint" with the flashlights to produce the illumination. Understand that these rooms are basically completely dark, so basically all the lighting in the scene is generated by me at the time of exposure.

Barry Kooda - That's a cool shot Barry...you should use that as your avatar on the forum!

my point is if you two would use a PM then you dont have to leave it to his imagination you can give out addresses or entry details or alarm codes until your hearts content

of course it wont get as much attention as a publically viewable thread but,

oh wait, thats the point!

not everyone that reads these threads is a cool urban exploring photographer

its just a suggestion you can do what ever you want

Considering he did not reveal were the place was or even what it was.

He said
Post by ImbroglioThanks to Barry Kooda for the tip on this place, but I only managed to pull off a couple shots before I started feeling sick.

So i meant to ask is that all he got to see or is it all he took a pic of.
OR Anything Interesting

I was not asking for any other information on the building such as entry info, time place, ect.. I understand and appreciate your concern put im not an idiot or a noob and i have read the rules.

And next time I want to ask a question ill use pm.
