Has anyone checked the tunnel lately for ice? It's been too wet I think...

It makes me sad that no one can go by ghost hunting honestly- at least not when a pay role is involved XD. It's fun watching them run around screaming- but what rubs me the wrong way the most is when these so called paranormal investigators try to give you a line of crap that they can banish the scary things under the bed just as long as they're armed with a $10 bottle of holy water from the nearest tourist shop and a bible and a bored priest. Another one is to assume every noise or event is not just a ghost- but a biblical DEMON out to get THEM personally.... I don't even have to name Paranormal State do I in reference, eh? XS It's enough to make me gag.... If any one of them were to check out some of the places I've seen, in Europe especially, they'd shit themselves XD!

Yes, and that's what makes it harder for us that seek the truth and hard evidence. People have to realize that these shows are for entertainment purposes only and not the real deal. Sadly, most that do watch these figure that they can now become a "ghost hunter" simply by watching these shows, wrong. You have to do your homework, there is a lot involved, one main aspect is the background history of a location. That's what I like about this place and much of the people who post here. They dig for the info!

I formed a society back in 2005 based on wanted to capture true evidence on some form of medium, may it be video, may it be audio or something ele, but in doing so, we do everything in the book to try and recreate what we find, if there is no luck, then we might say there's a possibility of it being of a paranormal nature. Believe me, there has been a few times where something been discovered under that catagory. We don't take stock in mediums or psychics other then if they can produce some info that makes sense to the history of the location. It's a tool we only use very little..

I checked out the entrances to the Blue Ghost Tunnel on "nice" days (below freezing, little snow) and posted the details, including how to locate the entrances at:
http://www.roberts...eghosttunnel2.html
and

Ya know Bob, I think it would really be appreciated if you removed the directions to the East Entrance. especially if you have ANY respect what so ever for the tunnel. After seeing the West Entrance, you are just asking for it to get trashed at the East but openly posting the directions. Most won't bother because they don't know how to get to it, or they are too lazy, but posting directions is stupid.
Notice the lack of tagging at the East end? And you are openly posting directions so more morons can destroy what's left of the nice limestone at the East End?
Come on man, THINK!

I tend to agree with MHInc. The west end has been completely desecrated with garbage, graffiti, and other things. People have no respect for our history and this is why the west end is all blocked. Please remove the directions for the east end so that we may at least preserve some integrity of the history in that area! Keep it free from graffiti!!!

Aren't the two entrances not even that far apart? I seem to recall walking most of the tunnel before realizing I was in need of boots.

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.

I thought it would be good to help others find the Blue Ghost Tunnel. Why should the location of places like this be "secret?" Sadly, MHInc and Dr. Gord are correct. Here are the revised pages:

Your heart is in the right place dude...But you aren't taking into consideration the fools out there that are tagging and totalling this said hisotric place. At this point having direcitons to the West Entrance is fine, the damage there has been done. But I think it's best just to keep the directions to the East End a well kept secret to those that respect the tunnel and want to see it in it's glory.
Thanks for understanding.

Well dude when you enter at the West end, yes you could get to the East end, but you would need more than boots. You would sink up to your waist in that mud and sediment in there. So the only alternative is either a boat, or a long hike to the other end. The long hike is the reason that the East end stays so pristine, and honestly there is a difficulty in finding it, just because it's not really where you would think it would be. And it's not that hike is so much long, I would say more, ummm based on the season you do it. I have found there is different way to go depending on the season.

I agree thanks man, the east end is in pristine condition and would be a total shame to see that end ruined as well. Thanks a lot for this!

I concur about keeping mum on the east entrance directions. I've only gone in from the west end myself...but someday I'd like to see the other end from the outside without grafs and shyte.

You can always tell when you're watching Canadian television - the actors in the show are the same ones doing the commercials.

I think we'd need snowshoes right about now, bud.

Still no big icicles from the ceiling, huh?

Not that I am aware of, if there were, they would have been gone in that really warm day we had last week.
We will have to make a spring trip
