| | | Yes, hmmmmm. Too many marshmellows. A tablespoon's worth is what I use. Then I lightly toast two slices of whole grain bread, spread on real butter (can't be margarine!). As the butter melts the toast is folded in half; this way the toast fits into the cup, completing the "dunking ritual". Kinda like the ancient Japanese tea ceremony only more glorious. Unrelated Topic #2: My girlfriend is an artist selling stuff at the Artist's Collective. Was that your art? If so, it's wonderful!

I have several things there. Mostly bone sculpture, stone carving and concrete casts. Thanks!
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |

| | | Posted by Barry Kooda That's a given. She gets whatever she wants. That's why she got a new Honda CRV in '99 and a new Mini Cooper in '03 while I'm still driving the used, leaky, 1990 Toyota pickup...

Haha, badass, same truck I got except it's a '92. I love the 22RE engine. [last edit 1/19/2008 7:06 PM by Mellon_Collie - edited 1 times]

I got the 3.0. I think I'm gonna have to pull it out to fix an oil leak.

Not sure. I do know it has a crack in the block. Nothing serious just irritating. Someone put the oil sending unit in too far or the wrong one or whatever but there's a vertical crack in that nipple. Then, yesterday, I almost missed my turn home and hit the brakes pretty hard and half a block later oil was pouring out like it all sloshed up front or something. Today it's hardly leaking at all. Weird. Last time I got into it, I had to drain and drop the front differential, drop both CV joints and one side of the steering assembly just to get the oil pan out. I did it twice that week. The first time it took 11 hours and the second took about 5. I'm not looking forward to doing it again.

| | | If you want the cheap easy temporary fix, try some JB weld. All jokes aside, it really will at least plug it up till ya figure on what to do.

I tried that twice. Ground to bare metal and cleaned it with ether. The problem is that the crack extends to the top and through the threads. I may just JB the entire business, including the sending unit and fuse it all together.
