I had my heart set on a few places this past weekend. But as my luck would have it, my starter decides it only wants to work some of the time. So to prevent getting stranded in various locations, I give you my short, "drive-by" exploration. BK, these are for you....a little bit of what you've been missing! Enjoy!

Hehe, I seem to know that place! As well as that certain movie house (been there a thousand times). Love the pics....and thanks for rubbing it in

Bustedknuckle's Automotive Tip of the Day

If you are ever stranded by a starter that wont kick on, try slamming a broom handle or blunt object against the case. Sometimes that will be enough for it to engage. So until you are able to purchase a new one carry a broom handle in the trunk! (dunno what kind of car you have....so the starter may not be accessible).

One more view of the stagecoach stop....and one more Chevrolet commercial.

Oh and those wood front structures are stores that were made to look like old west type of stuff, and that coliseum is I think where the Cowpunchers play basketball.

Check out Fort Mason next time! Robert E. Lee was stationed there.

Yeah, I've been banging on the starter all weekend! Embarrassing when you're in the bank drive-thru, in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, and other places. People just see me banging on the motor and cursing..."Goddam, P.O.S.!"

Oh well! I am planning to go back for a longer visit sometime in the near future.

Looks like a cool place.. hopefully when you get your starter fixed, we can see some inside shots!

Yeah, It's not even solid rocks under there, only around the perimeter. I will try to get in, but it looked pretty unstable, and uninteresting (not much inside). I have some better places in mind...in time!

Here's another image under the house...it's not the best picture, but you can tell the rock is just under the edge of the house. I am actually suprised the house has not fallen over...but it won't be long!

Maybe it was like when the trailer gets off-balance. "Honey, can you throw another rock under the corner of the living room while I put the cornbread in the oven?"
