I wonder what will happen to it, excavation on all sides, I guess they are widening the highway.

Is this by chance in hOuston? If so, I remember driving by this many times.

Thanks for the look!

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Cool. I remember seeing it a long time ago, on a thread, not in person. Thanks for sharing You seem to be getting around quite a bit in your explorations.

You and me both. I'm thinking of quitting my job and becoming a bum to enable full-time exploration.

WE need a vacation.

I know some drains that don't get wet... much. You could set yourself up like that guy at the mall, though electricity would be a bit more problematic. However, he has another "secret installation" called "The Tunnel", which may be apropos.

You know, if I didn't have 2 girls to raise, I'd seriously consider that. It would be a lot cheaper and you could make little bum friends who could tell you all the good spots and when explorers come into where you live, you could exchange cool information about the place in exchange for booze, cigarettes, food or whatever you need. Seems lots of bums like porn, non matching shoes and condom wrappers. That is what I find the most in abandonments.

If they're just gonna wreck it anyway, who's down for renting a flatbed truck and moving it somewhere safe? Anybody have a big backyard? We can fix it up too!!

Im sure it will be saved (I hope), apparently these Fututos have a following. The way they just excavated around it seems to say "leave that".

And it smelled like death in there.

I hope they save it. I have a backyard big enough, but it's already crammed with railroad stuff. That would make a cool playhouse though. Got tinted windows and all, I could take my porn collection in there and pretend I was a bum.
