I don't really have a story here; this is just a sampler of homes wrecked by Katrina that I found while wandering around Louisiana and Mississippi.

Some pretty sad and amazing stuff. Before I clicked the 3rd one I thought it was posted upside down.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

Nice group!
That 3 story's tippin' ready.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

Whether you've got a story or not, these are some great shots. It's extremely tragic, but thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing,a couple of those places look like they were once pretty grand. How very sad and tragic, indeed.

Very nice set. You've really done a lot to bring the storms destruction to us in a real way. Great job.

Great pix. #1 and 2 look like a house that could be remodeled. A good example of southern living..

Wow, nice shots. The house with the overgrown roof on the right is my favorite, it's a nice characteristic.

That overgrown shed in three down two across is (was) a DUPLEX ?

Wow... that's what I call meager living.
