When I read this all I can think of is the time I was doing squats and misjudge how close I was to the knurl Olympic bar (why didn't the bastards have a squat bar?) as I was coming up, getting ready to unrack it.

I had my head shaved, and ran the top 2 inches or so of my bare head along the bar; I almost cleared it.
It was like a big rasp and left a delightful tingling pain, and red abrasion.
I felt like Curly.
I called it a day... had I seen someone do that shit, I'd busted a nut.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

It is stupid not to wear a helmet, but whatev; I don't either.

Give this kid a break, just because he's new doesn't mean you have to treat him like his jewish mother.

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

Holy shit!

But weren't you worried about carbon monoxide a bit?

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

I don't think it would be a problem as long as he kept moving.
