I don't think it's going to help

What you're looking at in the first image is the remains of a gas station demolished and flooded by Katrina. The storm was violent enough to change the landscape and move the borders of the swamp, and the station has never emerged since. I don't really have much to say about it, but I post it to give context to the second photo, which wins the 'funniest storm debris' award as far as I'm concerned. Somehow I don't think one busted vacuum cleaner is going to help.

On an unrelated note, I'm going dark for a while. I'll be spending the next ten days in Colorado; hopefully I'll have some good shots of ghost towns when I get back.

I love the second picture. Something about it tells a story...

Have fun on your trip. Can't wait to see what you have when you come back!
