Apparently this location was infiltrated every so often by local high school kids. I'm trying to track down a bit more information, and talk to these people. (Who are friends with my girlfriend's friend. ... ) Apparently they've been inside as recently as last spring, and there were a lot of spots where it looked like it was still an active 1950s factory. She told me the kids said, "It looked like people were going to come back to work the next day".

The place is obviously abandoned, and I know that the first few floors have been emptied. I'm worried that there was either a problem with the locals earlier this year, or that the new realty company has really locked the place down tight. I couldn't see any entry points anywhere, the place seems very secure. And apparently these kids used to get inside, whenever they felt like it, with no problems.

well the ease of entry that they suggest is strange, considering that you included bolt cutters under "required equipment"
