Here's what I came up with on my lunch break today, i did it in CSS not in photoshop, and the only image besides the avatars and stuff is the UER logo, very efficient as far as bandwidth goes.

I still like the old "greenish curvy EKG emblem design". I liked it a lot.

I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying.

Yes, nice job Wabbit.

I'd spruce it up with a bit of color. Looks a little too monocromatic to me.

Has anyone noticed that they all look a lot like the old one? People tried new colours and designs and everyone keeps altering or liking the one that looks a lot like the site we already have… strange no?

Maybe it's because the current design isn't all that bad.

Or maybe nobody has posted a better one yet.

I know that at least a couple more people have said they will be posting designs. After that, I will probably take the designs I like most and make a "composite" -- take the features from each one that I think are strongest, and post them here for your review. (For example, Wabbit's design with a few elements from some of the other designs could really work for this site).

Just for the record, I *love* ghostkilla's design. Its sufficiently different to be fresh, but sufficiently similar to the current to avoid confusing people.

All the others seem too similar to the current.

Just my 2p'orth.

I agree but I'd like to see some vibrant colors to spice things up a little bit. The current colors...blue,black,white and gray...are a little to monocramatic for me.

It's a message board, not a birthday party. The less "spice" the easier it's going to be on the eyes after looking at things for longer than 10 minutes. I say stick with the existing colour scheme or choose something that's similar in its non-offensiveness.
