May as well start here.
entry by the ruralexploration kids

After running around in Cardox for a short time, I want to be like, world's busiest UEer. Although I like the word Rurexer better, 'cause as urban as I get is photographing the circle in Easton.

I've decided not to be a chicken, and that we *should* go to the hospital in Athens, or back to Cardox.. Something to build our rurexing esteem so that when we get back to PA, we can conquer the motherland. I want inside Bethlehem Steel. I'm still a little concerned about getting arrested/shot/bludgeoned, but on the other hand, John's told me I could talk our way out of a Mafia hit. This is a bad hobby for someone who's as paranoid as myself. I sometimes think I should stick to crocheting.

I wanna go 'sploring. There's one problem. Our car is sick. It needs a new AC compressor, and we're stuck here at the house. Thankfully, the tow truck driver stopped at Smith's so I could pick up soda and smokes, otherwise I'd be insane.

We've had a productive trip. Cardox was a lot of fun. I doubt we'll have a chance to go back before we leave, but it'd be nice. I was disappointed by the Orphanarium in Corsicana. Other than drilling a hole in the wall, there's no way in. Those abandoned houses in Forney looked pretty neat.. But I don't think we'll be getting in there.

This seems good enough for a first entry. I'm gonna go take a nap and hope this rain will someday stop.

It's nobler to never get paid, than to bank on shit and dismay

If you get reeaaally bored, there's 3 abandoned gas stations in Madisonville right off of 45.
