Not sure if i'm ok to do this, but i'm gonna bump this thread just to see if any Idabros are still around in 2022. PM or respond here just cuz I'd like to meet some other people into the hobby. I'm specifically near Boise but wouldn't be opposed to driving a while to meet up.

There was that old slaughter house and few outer buildings in that park in Eagle by the river. Haven't been out there in years to see if its even still around. The old buildings were pretty rotten and we almost fell through the floor in one of them. That had to be at least 5 years ago since I've been out there.

Theres a few of us but there just isn't anything left in the area that hasn't been repurposed or torn down. Nampa and caldwell had some stuff up til the last couple years but its done with the expection of a few churches looking to be sold. There are some places up north or if you wanna travel to portland or a few other northwest cities though.

There's quite a few buildings I've noticed downtown, I haven't checked inside any yet though, I've just been scouting. Also, I may have found someone who knows where to access the tunnels if they're actually real.

Used to be an entrance to at least part of the tunnels under pie hole/under the north face by just taking an elevator like 10 years back before North face was there and the rebar pit was still there and not the skyscraper that eventually took its place. Nothing that exciting there anyways.

From what I've been told there is access to them from DV8 salon, which is apparently closing soon. Also, it looks like the Safari Inn has closed down within the past couple of months and might be undergoing renovations. Judging by its proximity to DV8 I would hope that it shares access to the tunnels. I always figured the tunnels weren't very cool anyway, but there's slim pickings around here and I've been looking into finding them since I was just a wee lad. I scoped out the hotel earlier this week so hopefully I get access. It seems like there used to be a lot of cool stuff pre everyone moving here, like Mercy Hospital in Nampa, but I was too young at the time.
