LA anyone up for some exploring?

Good morning/afternoon, anyone in LA up to explore? Keep in mind with COVID19 I am not able to acquire any respirators for asbestos or anything, so I'll want to avoid those areas, I only have N95 paper mask protection, or my new filter military gas mask, so maybe, its a green filter, not sure what it protects from, gases and chemicals I'd assume.

I also don't want to be around strangers without face coverings and proper steps to avoid possible spread of this virus.

That said, I still want to get out and find some new places!

Please stay the fuck home.

Society can deal with a bit of (relatively) harmless trespassing when it's appropriate, but it does not need a vector right now.

Hold off for now. Get some research in for when things change.

I have a sneaking suspicion that things are going to get worse again once they lift the quarantine. Hoping I'm wrong, but from day one I've called everything that's happened.

I also was carrying a mask in the beginning only wearing it when people were around, but that turned into full time mask use weeks before anyone else.

Crazy how people keep listening to the people who said this wouldn't happen 😁 same people who made fun of me for my mask a few weeks ago are all wearing one today, because tHeY wErE tOlD tO now smh.

(And I'm not talking about you, or going against you)

Then why are you looking to go exploring with strangers while everyone is supposed to be staying home, avoiding contact with other people?

Yeah dude, that's a hard pass from me. Solo explore or don't explore at all right now, I'd say. Use this time to research the hell outta new spots, or keep an eye on what's going to be abandoned in the coming recession.

Just curious for an update, has the general feeling about this changed, now that as a species we have adapted to the "new world" climate and learned to work around it? At this point life is almost operating as normal imo.

I’m back in my old groove of solo only. Meeting strangers isn’t on my radar at this time. Ok, I’m not even meeting up with people I know at this time unless we’re hella close. Doesn’t stop me from exploring though

Maybe change that title to "socially distanced exploring"

Hit me up when you’re available! I stay in Long Beach and I tend to explore there but I’ve been meaning to take the blue line out to LA again to hit up some spots and see how they’ve changed since my last LA urbex trip
