Hey guys I'm kinda new to urbex and my research skills are limited and I'm trying to find the history behind an old building. Before I explore a location I usually catalog the history of the building but I couldn't find anything initially. So I just went and explored the place anyway. I explored the location way back in January, from what I saw it was an old police training facility; targets and UTM shells were littered all over the place. But there was evidence of things prior (see pic 4 an old sign about something about chairs). From the research that I did do after I could only find that the building was adjacent to a storage facility that may have housed police or movie props/equipment but was burnt down in late 2020.

Older google maps street view pictures show that the building was painted with a regency advertising sign for what I believe was a cellphone ad; but unfortunately any evidence of such work was painted over by both street artist and whoever took it upon themselves to paint over the enter ad. Other than that my research into the location has reached a dead end. I explored the place two more times to get more info but the place got worse every subsequent explore, and the last time I explored it I took my girlfriend there and a homeless man followed us out. Furthermore, the building was featured on the news after a arsonist set fire to the second floor and two people were trapped, but luckily they were rescued. It is likely, however, that they were caught and charged and the building likely is much more guarded than it was previously.
