My friend's explore-mobile in front of one of the last remaining abandoned parts of West Park Asylum, the conversion has been completed now and this is situated in the still active hospital areas to the rear of the site.

Apologies for the size of the photo, thats what you get when copying off Facebook...

they're expensive as fuck when they break... especially the VR4 variant.

You are preaching fire and brimstone to the choir my friend. The owner before me had apparently caught some of the wiring on fire and "fixed" it. Six months into me owning the car it just stopped working. Found out the wiring harness had melted itself due to guys "fix." Running a new wiring harness was going to cost more than I bought it for.

I sold it and bought a Cadillac. (because those are so much cheaper to work on )

Glorious wheels man, I hope you're serious about daily driving that gem.

That spot looks awesome, have you been to the top and inside?

Random stop along my commute the other day, seemingly endless rezoning around here.

Every place I have explored has been in my 2012 Corolla. It's not exactly the coolest car in town, but it gets me from point A to point B every time. Thx Toyota

First time exploring Vancouver Island last weekend, covered a lot of ground and checked up on a good portion of the DB for that area. Will update the DB entries and threads when I find some time.

Forgive the nasty bloom effect on the photos, my camera lens cover is completely shattered.

One last trip before winter. I seem to have missed the season; the place closed in 1992.
