Hello, I'm pretty excited to join everyone here and explore my area more thoroughly. I live in a small town North of Plano, but I travel all over the DFW in order to get out a bit.

I like to take pictures with my polaroid camera, but in order to get better quality pictures to share with y'all I may have to start using a digital one.

Either way, I look forward to contributing to the forums here.

Hey I'm Callisto,
I live in Toronto regions and love to kill time on a rooftop enjoying the view... I'm planing on doing more more UE in the next couple years and I'm looking for somebody who knows their ways around more than I do and who can teach me some spots around the GTA.

The only spots I visited are:
1- Lumiere Condo (Just across TRoCP)
2- The Residences of College Park (Tallest Tower)
3- The "L" Tower (probably everybody knows this spot)
4- TD Tower construction sit floors
5- 365 Church Street under construction (got caught due to cameras on North side)

I'm looking forward more explorations and possibly contacts
Hit me up

Callisto

Hello everyone! My name is Emily. It will take me some time to get used to the forum formatting (I apologize), but my friend and I discovered UE a little over a year ago. Centralia first sparked our interest. Since then, we've explored about a dozen other places in our area and want to visit new locations. I am from the Pocono area, and I am excited to be able to post to this community.

Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a long time. First time poster.

I'm in the Ottawa area and I have some pit tires for. Some sites I've visited that I would like to upload to the database. I tried but it says I do t have access. How does one get access?

Cheers!

Hey!
I go by Uzume on here.
Toronto, Ontario resident.
Got into UE about 4 years ago.
Mostly started to find rooftops to have sex..
Got addicted to it. (The exploring) Between Toronto, Montreal, New York, Ottawa and Mexico I have been through a lot of amazing buildings, seen some incredible views and have experienced little as exhilarating. Decaying architecture is poetic in it's own right and deserves to be appreciated. Witnessing nature reclaim a building is one of the most righteous sensations.
Interested in trying draining!
Would love to meet up with Toronto folks to adventure together. If you bike there tis a bonus.
Cheers.

Hey guys, I'm Matt, I've been perusing the site for years but only registered an account last year. I've always been somewhat obsessed with abandoned and lost locations and objects, not sure why, I'm sure it can be traced back to some influential movie. I've visited probably a dozen locations so far, maybe 16 or 17? and photographed most of them, but I seek opportunities to photograph things that even just evoke the mysterious essence of entire buildings. My friend and I don't get to explore as often as we'd like (both full time students) but we savor every opportunity. I have a lot of great photos of places (and some locations that I cannot see on the map, although I'm sure some of them are simply invisible to me (i.e. Belchertown State School in MA.) I'm eager to get in touch with other enthusiasts and eventually earn my full membership! I'd appreciate any advice on where the best location to post about the places I've been (almost all in MA) and post their photos. Thanks for any help, and I'm looking forward to talking with you guys

Hi, I am from Indiana but am currently living in Tennessee for college. My brother and I really got into urban exploration this past summer. It's really fun and I would love to continue it whilst I am here in Tennessee. Pretty new to this forum and have not done any exploration in Tennessee as of yet so i am open to making to new friends here!

But bicycles are so much more stealthy!
No one hears me coming or going.
How comfortable are you taking your harley off roading?
Unless you have longer shocks and get some off roading tires it probably isn't the best for your bike.
In any case, it seems a bike race is in order... UE scavenger hunt perchance?

you are obviously absolutely right lol i got stopped by the cops once because of it, not too subtle.

And i almost got screwed on a dirt road once, i was expecting the road to open up but got so narrow that it became practically a path in the woods, was hell turning it around.

I guess putting a bike in my pick up and approaching a place from further away would be wise.

What's up everyone? I was a member of this board about 9-10 years ago under a different name, but only posted a little and before I knew it, real life took over and I didn't have any chances to really get out much. I can't remember my login details for my old account so I figured I'd just start a new one.

I finally have the ability and time to get exploring more, and a vehicle to do so! So I'm down for getting back into this. I'm a photographer by trade and am always looking for decaying, atmospheric places to document.

I'm based in Scarborough, basically the border with the Beaches (in Toronto, Canada btw) and I'm especially up for anything out this way. Definitely looking forward to learning, reading, seeing others awesome pics, meeting new people, and attending some events to get back into the swing. Things (both tech and locations) seem to have changed quite a bit since last I did this.

Thanks for making this forum! Hope to meet some of you for local adventures!

Hey everyone!

My name is Zach and I live in Logan, Utah. I just moved to the area to attend university, and I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you and seeing some interesting new locations. Previously I lived in an area of Washington state that had very little to explore (but I tried to find as much as I could), and I also often had no one to go with. I hope that my new area will allow me to advance further into this hobby that has captivated me for so long.

I look forward to interacting with all of you on this site. As for anyone in or around Logan, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Glad to join this community and hope to get out and do some more exploring soon. I'm a decent photographer, have a B.A. in Creative Writing and I'm an IT man to pay the bills.

Hope to meet up with some local UER members soon.

Hey all, My name is John, and I'm a sociologist researcher (wow don't run away! lol). I thought It would be best I introduce myself here so people understand my intentions as a new member. I feel like this is the most respectable way to do so.

Even though I am new to this community, urban exploring has always been an interest for me—both for practice and research. As a teenager, many moons ago, I use to break into old abandoned warehouses, located in Nova Scotia, to simply see behind what appeared to be an empty void in my community. Yet more times than not, these old abonded fish factories were filled with rustic treasures. Sadly, ever since I moved to the west coast, I completely stopped this form of exploring, and diverted my energy to exploring the mountains of BC. I most likely made this change because on the east I use to have a stronger community that would join in on my exploring antics. Here in Vancouver, I've never had that bond with people. Moreover, a few weeks ago a friend told me about this site and how that there is a pretty strong community of people who do this for both a personal hobby and lifestyle. Coincidently, I am attending university and am expected to do an ethnographic research on a community of people. I thought this would be a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. That is, why not attempt to study a community of people who I am also interested in? So I have gathered a team of 5 interesting individuals who are very anti private property and will be conducting a documentary about this community. The documentary will be 100% public domain, so for those who are interested in using the footage and research will be able to do so free of charge.

So please do not be alarmed with my existance. I might be joining in on conversations, and asking questions. But I will never include anything in my research that I have not asked permission and not had a consent form signed. In other words, all my questions on this site will be my own interest.

Thanks you

Wow, you said a mouthful. Seeing that the USA and Canada for that matter are based on the right to own private property and that many here do, it's fair to say many on UER aren't opposed to it.
Moreover some of us have shot extensively by permission from the owners and even the local police as well as by other means. Many of us don't B&E to explore.

One thing many of us tend to be is anti-documentary as you may have noticed.
If your documentary is nonprofit you need no consent forms for anything including images.
Do you remember W.W. Beauchamp in Unforgiven?
Do you recall Will Munny advice to him at the end of the movie?
