Government Building

It was pretty nice outside today and I had nothing to do, so I decided to check out a building I had been eyeing for a while. Unfortunately it was sealed up tighter than I expected, and I only got to catch some glimpses through the windows. As I was walking back to my truck, a police officer arrived and asked me what I was doing. Apparently a nosy neighbor called about a 'suspicious person'... This location really isn't in the best neighborhood so I guess that makes sense. I know it's not too interesting... But it's the effort that counts.

2.

Some nice marble inside...

3.

It smelled HORRIBLE in this little corner area.

4.

The familiar hum of electricity could be heard behind these doors, leading me to believe the electricity must still be on...

5.

This area that someone must call home smelled worse than the other corner. There was actually a brown substance smeared on the wall...

6.

It looks like it's just one of those situations where I need to wait for some homeless person or vandal to smash their way in first, leaving a nice entry point.

Yeah definitely, but if people are calling the police for pretty much anyone on the property it might be awhile before that happens.

Oh man, and it looks full of photographic potential too. I would check it out at night and go through the back.

Nice find. Definitely looks like a place worth exploring. But like you said, let the vandals find their way in so you don't have to deal with that dirty work

Is there any way to get on the roof from the outside? I've had some luck with roof hatches.

C4 opens most roof hatches.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

He gets an A for effort. Next time a cop asks you what you are doing look him directly in the eyes and say I lost my dog in the area and I was looking for him. It can work.

Does the dog trick actually work? I've always thought it would til I realized they might ask why I'd go into an abandoned building to look for my dog... Hmm..

"I'm looking for my dog..." Then you immediately burst into tears and fall on the ground screaming, "WHY GOD, WHY WOULD YOU TAKE MY BUDDY REX AWAY FROM ME? HE WAS MY ONLY FRIEND!"
