This past Friday, me and Turtl drove about 40 min from the great city of Atlanta to explore an abandoned tennis complex. The complex consists of one big stadium with a few surrounding courts and a pro shop. The stadium itself is rather impressive in size for an outdoor tennis court.

It was abandoned in 2007 and has since fallen into disrepair. There were signs of scrapping as well.

My favorite part of this explore was getting down and grabbing shots on the court itself.

There were flowers and other plants growing on the court as well.

Some shots from the second tier of the stadium.

Awesome find! Going to a stadium is something I want to do one day. Those empty seats look so cool.

Nice shots. I tried to shoot some footage but it didn't really work out. Im thinking of investing in a slider to get some more dynamic shots, but they don't bode well for portability. Anyways, heres a few pics of mine.

EDIT: Did a double take on my last photo, upon viewing the image original-res via the flickr link, you can kinda make out the name of the place. Removed it. Better safe than sorry.

Great discovery! This place looks so simple and plain,YET, it's very intriguing. I would love to go in there.

Turtl's shots look good too, especially the one of that powered(?) sign and the panoramic shot.

It was lots of fun. We actually put a flashlight behind that sign to make it seem illuminated.
