This place, which shall remain nameless, was once a paper mill. The company started back in the 1800’s and this particular site was built in the 1900’s. It once employed a few thousand people. After the death of the company’s founder it was turned over to his sons. One of the sons was heavily into philanthropy and dedicated his cash flow toward that cause rather than maintaining the failing mill. Once the son who was managing the property died, it fell into the hands of the remaining son. He in turn decided to sell the mill. Shortly after the transaction, this new company fell into bankruptcy. According to an article I read, the bankruptcy and closure of this mill was on short notice and some of the workers did not receive their final paychecks, retirement benefits, nor their separation pay.
***SIDE NOTE – This site is HOT!!! DO NOT go here. I unfortunately was caught because my fat ass couldn’t get away in time. I was lucky enough that the people let me go with a warning. I don’t think that the next explorer would be so lucky.
Also, if photo #9 needs to be removed I'll edit this post accordingly.
