Epic sadness in this poor forgotten town.

I first heard of Picher's downfall when I was attending college in Oklahoma and went to a collegiate press association event where pictures of Picher's evacuation were featured in a photojournalism lecture.

Such a shame, but it makes for great UEing. Wish I could see it in person, but I'm hundreds of miles away now.
