| | | So I climbed this today, and it raised a few questions,
when i reached the top, turns out the hole to go on the walkway was sealed shut, which is why there are no pics from up there, as i did not want to operate a camera one handed dangling unsecured 100+ feet in the air
so why would the hole on the walkway be sealed, or is there a way to open it that i do not know of?
Also, I have seen a cable/ pole running in the middle of a ladder like that on many other tall ladders, I am taking a guess that is for a person to secure themselves to the ladder, is this assumption correct? If so, I may get a harness or something next time I even think about climbing it. I would love to have anymore information anyone else can provide as well!
Everyday is an exploration! Go out and do something new today :D |

| | | The center poll or rope is part of a fall protection system, but I wouldnt buy something specific for that one protection system since you may need fall protection sometime for a different explore. Best to go with something more versatile. I use a harness attached to something similar to this and just clip to the ladder itself: http://www.amazon....+protection+bungee

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

| | | The center cable is used for an ascender, a cam-based device attached to a harness that lets you go up, but not down, therefore preventing falls.
