Its significantly inland but it has been exposed to the elements and people for almost 30 years.

I think you went a little too overboard on the HDR. Could you post a pic without it being HDRed for comparison purposes?

First off, I love shots like this. Really shows perspective. Well composed and great use of leading lines.

Also, the HDR, is very well done, my eyes aren't bleeding, and the colours are still near natural looking. I prefer it over the SOC shot (which coming from me says something)

Perhaps I'm biased because I dislike most HDRs, but I feel the HDR-less image is way stronger.

Great shot!

I really hate HDRs but you did the HDR just right and it still looks very natural pulling the colours out for a very very good contrast!

Great Photo. Personally, I would have moved forward one doorway, so my entire image was filled by the sun-lit areas, but overall well done. I agree that the SOC image looks better, it looks cleaner, and it feels like there is less information at the fore.

sidenote: I've been to this place a few times. Word from a few months back is that they are finally gonna tear it down. Get it before its gone.

If you're gonna do HDR I'm in the camp that it has to be subtle. You've got subtle in this picture. Move the camera a little to right for the composition. Otherwise, me gusta.
