Wow they really cleared that building out since I was last in there.

This building (along with the rest in the motorpool } has been a parking lot for about three months now. The baseball field and service shops across the road are gone as well. Demo is in full effect at the moment, they have even moved a concrete grinder into the area.

Hey CDR, 2 weeks ago when we were at the site in your second pic I took some shots out a window on the back side looking down into the area between the 2 wings (should know where im talking about) and when I got home I was going through my pics and noticed a site I didnt see when actually there. ON the opposite side from me there was a 55 gallon plastic trash can outside the lowest window with w rope tied to it leading up towards the area we enter.I was like "Those ingenious scrapping bastards" Guessing it was left from awhile ago though since the only changes have been actual real clean up.

Thanks CR, I appreciate it. I'm really trying to push myself to get to the point I might actually be able to make a decent living at photography, but I have much to learn....I can dream.

Lots of photos from this weekends adventures to choose from, first putting wreathes out at the national cemetery, then visit to the f-22 raptor crash site, then to Palmdale to get some photos of a U2, SR-71 and F-117. Then today we went down to find some Fire control rooms in the cliffs of So-cal (which involved me falling into a cactus), then to Fort McArthur, and finally to the Sunken City...... In other words be prepared lol

2 Meaningful ones for tonight....

My Grandmother having a conversation with my Grandfather, letting him know about the cancer we just discovered she has....

Just a perspective I loved...

So sorry to hear about Grandmas health. I see she's a tough ol' girl, and fighting multiple battles. My prayers go out to all of you.

My dog and I might have been in that same cactus 30 years ago? I'll know when you post.

Those Cactus are no joke, I now see why these fire control boxes are considered to be some of the best preserved, as they have natures best defense system around them lol.

Couple shots from Saturday. Both these were actually shot by Lil Bugsy and then I did the edit. Got to speak with an ex SR-71 and B-2 pilot while we were there. In fact they stayed after hours just to talk history and crash sites with us. In April they will be opening the cockpits to the SR-71, A-12, and U-2 they have on site, and allow photography inside........
