first exploration

earlier before, i've 'explored' downtown and gotten into a couple of mischievous things but nothing crazy. last night i made it out to an abandoned quarry here in san antonio.

the night started out with me parking at a vacant football stadium, which by the way was named after a high-school friend of mine who had actually passed away a couple years ago due to a football injury. it was out in the hill-country so i knew nobody would bother me (yes, alone). as i found my parking spot wayyy in the back, i noticed a NO-TRESPASSING sign leading to a separate quarry. i had to go, it'll just be real quick

the thing was enormous, the pics don't do it justice
LESSON LEARNED #1 --- dont't forget to bring bug spray

i headed back in the direction of my original destination, and thought-- hmm, this football stadium on my way looks rather empty.. how cool would it be to stand in the middle of the field and NOBODY there..
LESSON LEARNED #2 ---- bring gloves if you're going to be climbing things

NOW, headed to what i wanted to see. it was real fun doing stealth mode, but did come across a few startling things. i remembered being here, at night in this old and abandoned and very demonic looking place, thinking to myself "i better not find a dead body here"-- well i didn't. but, i did hear movement in the brush and when flashing my light i saw a skunk. scared the crap outta me. that, and a huge moth, or whatever this thing was, just kind of flew right in front of my face and i freaked for like a millisecond.

I personally carry a bit of everything in my car just in case. Proper scouting also helps avoid lack of supplies. Good raw shots though! Cool looking place.

Nice set. Thanks for posting. Gloves, bug spray, batteries, flashlight, water, never leave home without them.
