| | A Barn Left to Rot outside Tulsa < on 9/24/2010 2:13 PM >
| | | Hello I will introduce myself by adding some photo's. I moved to Tulsa in July due to my husbands work. I came from a small town in northwest Indiana about 5 minutes out of Gary, so UE has always been a part of my life. Being so close to a city like Gary, I got tired of seeing "Urban" ruins..so I started focusing more on rural areas, and deserted farms. When I moved out west I saw this as a great opportunity to explore what I love. I am learning very quickly "How the West was Won" and then left to ROT!

| | | Nice, there are plenty of these around Tulsa if you look hard enough. And of course there are TONS of rural places in Oklahoma, especially old school houses, they are everywhere.
Dude, KJ, I lol'd when I saw your new avatar pic, Brady tunnels FTW!

Please, call me Fiend, ;) . Downtown is dead outside of business hours. You could get away with multiple murders in one night, cops dont even patrol downtown. There is really one reason why Oklahoma has so many rural places and why they are all abandoned, oil. The oil boom caused towns pop up over night, then when the drilling stopped, people left. Same goes with the rural schools. They were built around the oil fields for the workers family's, then when the oil dried up, people left, leaving behind small towns and rural schools (some of which are still there...)

There's always a period of learning with this website. You'll get used to it. Great, hope we see you there. I'm not sure where it is actually, I haven't got the thingy yet. We were gonna meet at my house, and grill but, if we have new members coming, best to have it in a public atmosphere, I suppose. Also I have a bachelor party tomorrow night, so Sunday, I will not be feeling so hot..

@Fiend - I'm not sure what every one means by bros before hoes, cuz 9 times out of 10, that process of thinking will get you in trouble. Get sum. That is all. Or you could come to our sausage fest and drink yourself into oblivion. Wish in one hand, shit in the other. [last edit 9/24/2010 3:38 PM by KingJalopy - edited 1 times]

No girls allowed at a bachelor party. Unless of course they are taking their clothes off for money. Also, no cameras allowed.

| | | Haha...I never knew there was such a large Tulsa group. I was just up there to play a show at Shenanigan's on 31st street. I saw lots of UE goodies up there. I am going back to play again at Shenanigan's on Nov 20th, so I think I am going to take my camera and do some 'splorin before the show! lol
