Seems like our favorite yet hated location in atlanta might be on the verge of some real demolition. The front part of brook run has some serious construction going on *the park entrance* and there were people with hardhats going into the main facility. It seems that the city of atlanta hates us.

Impeccable timing...right before APEX. Awesome. I'm fucking thrilled. Now we just need a crackhead to set it on fire to seal the deal.

That construction has been there for months. It actually started in January, just after we posted the location. They are refacing the whole park, so yeah, there's going to be a lot of construction. However, the Hospital portion itself is one of the biggest parts of the refacing, since they're turning it into a aviary. I believe they plan on tearing the whole place down. But I'd imagine it will be one of the last places to be worked on, since it's in the back of the park, (so they can do it without it messing up the feel of the place), and also since it's the biggest part of the whole project.

is this place a skate park now?

That was their plan - haven't been there in a couple of years though, so I don't know for sure.
