Well, I just found out that these were to be 1,200 meg units, not 900 meg like I originally thought....

So this tower could in fact be 500 feet tall ! ...

stay tuned, searching for more info right now......

wow! pretty awesome... thanks for looking for us. =) standing beneath that thing and looking up at the night sky was incredibly surreal.

mascarah - the pic with the little man gives a great sense of scale of the place.

I keep looking at this and I think its between 65-70 stories tall. I've been up 45 and 50 story cranes and this is higher.

"Stories" is a relative unit of measure, since they can vary from 10 feet to 25 feet.

Not in North America, right? I much prefer meters anyways.

I think my favourite of the set was this one, and I haven't been able to figure out why. I, however, also was a huge fan of the rightly declared dystopian shot.

Well remember, the tallest one in the world is in Germany at a coal fired plant, and its 600 feet tall, and it also doubles as the chimney....

EDIT:

Along side with this picture taken from the exact same perspective, you can see that this isn't even a very wide angle shot, at all:
