| | | Fantastic photos as usual Wolfheart. The 'another summer' looks like it could be a postcard or calendar. They're all splendid.

| | | Again, great feel to all your photos. Love the old car, and How Many Rounds. I can just imagine the trips that were taken, and it makes me a little sad that they are now forgotten. Well done, and thank-you.
You and me will all go down in history, with a sad Statue of Liberty, and a generation that didn't agree. |

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind. |

| | | I agree with all of the above. Your pics are always very well done and I continue to look forward to more. I hate to take away from that, but Selfmade has me curious. Is that a hand carved shovel in a freakin' shovel stand? Or is that piece on the bottom attached? Which it kinda looks like, but what the heck would you use that thing for?

By the way, I feel so damned sad about that sleigh. It is so damned beautiful that I really would like to save it. I'll think that I must try to find out if that place still have some owner, before it crashes down. As you can see, it won't probably be long way away:

I am not sure about that shovel... But one thing is sure: it must be old. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be about the end of the 2nd world war - there were much lack of everything here, so people need to be innovative at those days. Oh yes and that piece on the bottom were attached to shovel, it weren't stand (even it was kind of piece of art that it should stand on the stand I'll think). I sure ain't sure about reason for that... Probably it is just for strength?
And finally: thanks again for all who have leave comments here - it makes me happy if I can be able to transfer some feelings with my photos. And by the way, tomorrow gonna probably finally be the day for that abandoned grain silo... So keep your thumbs up that it still stands there abandoned!

| | | My grandma used to have a similar shovel in her "personal museum". The metal part is for durability and practicality. You can't sharpen wood enough, so the metal part helps it to dig to the ground. The tip of the wooden shovel would also wear pretty quickly when used to shovel hard stuff like sand or gravel. Oh, and it's quite likely locally made. Just like Wolfheart said, after (and even before) the war people had to be creative.

| | | Just mesmerizing My Friend, as usual it makes me feel like I am right there. One day I'll drive over for a short visit!! I think that sleigh needs a good safe home, quickly. I think that car is a British Mini Cooper.

Welcome! And that car is Mini Cooper. Actually half of it - it was cut off from the middle. There were other Cooper too, or at least it chassis. Who knows what kind of plants there have been...
